Meet Dr. Chris Morgan

Dr. Chris Morgan grew up in Lakewood, Ohio and received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Allegheny College. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from The University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine in 2001. Comitted to excellence in his field, he was awarded the prestigious American Dental Association's Golden Apple Award for Leadership, an award given to only three dentists each year nationwide.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Mexico Dental Association (NMDA), the Santa Fe District Dental Society, the NMDA House of Delegates, and served as vice president and president-elect for the New Mexico Dental Association.  In 2016, Dr. Morgan co-chaired the Santa Fe Mission of Mercy, serving over 1,200 dental patients free of charge giving away $1.2 million in free treatment.

Dr. Morgan is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to better serve the dental care needs of his patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience. He completes well over 100 hours of continuing education credits annually, mostly at the prestigious Spear Education Facility in Scottsdale Arizona. This is a high-level advanced dental education center, respected and attended on an international basis. Additional hours of CE earned at various dental venues including Santa Fe's Seattle Study Club, NMDA's Annual State meeting, and others.

When not treating patients, Dr. Morgan spends time with his family in Santa Fe, NM. Along with his wife and children, they love much of what Santa Fe offers, but they especially enjoy skiing in the winter and golfing in the summer. They also do a fair amount of camping, swimming and just spending time with family and friends.
