No, its not Christmas yet. Its that time of year in Santa Fe when the air turns crisp and cool and the mountains turn to gold. This is when my family heads out doors to the mountains for a wonderful hike. We love being in nature and spending time together as a family. This helps balance or very busy lives during the week. The aspens light up the mountains and provide the perfect backdrop against the bright blue skies for a glorious hike together.
This is also the time of year when kids dress up in costume and eat candy. Our tips for a Healthy Halloween include
1) eating candy with or after meals.
2) stay away from sticky candies that cling to your teeth.
3) Drink lots of water and brush your teeth after eating sugary candies.
